Every time my little guy got out of the tub, his delicate skin was bright red and irritated. It took me a while to figure out that it was the soap that I was using on him, that was causing him discomfort. Before finding Cetaphil Baby Wash and Shampoo, I went through several of the leading baby washes that were hypoallergenic and gentle on the skin.
Cetaphil Baby Wash and Shampoo was created using organic calendula extract (derived from the marigold flower), which is known to soothe sensitive irritated skin. It is paraben, colorant, mineral oil, and tear free. Cetaphil Baby Wash is hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested.
I absolutely love this baby wash and shampoo. A little bit goes a long way. A small drop on a wash cloth or sponge turns into a nice rich lather, covering from head to toe. There is a slight fragrance, which isn’t overwhelming or irritating at all. It washes away easily, and doesn’t leave a residue.
I have noticed with other baby soap and shampoo combo’s, the soap leaves the skin soft, but the baby’s hair is either coarse or greasy feeling. With the Cetaphil Baby Wash and Shampoo, I have noticed that not only is my son’s skin soft and not irritated when he gets out of the tub, but his hair is also soft.
I am so happy to have found a hypoallergenic soap and shampoo for my little guy that not only leaves his skin soft, but also soothes his irritated skin.
